Features

Freedom device

Large SOS Button

Stylish and functional, the Freedom device provides a simple SOS button suitable for those with poor motor skills. Once activated the device’s GPS location is sent and a two-way and recorded voice link is established to first-responders or to operators within a monitoring service.

Advanced Location Features

The Freedom Device comes with a roaming sim, which can be tracked using GPS technology. As well as providing live locations when an SOS is activated, we can also offer a "breadcrumb" history of locations, in instances where the citizen is out of signal and lost.

IP66 Waterproof

Water, dust & impact resistant. The freedom device is built to stands up to daily life.

200 Hour Battery Life

Optimised to last up to 200 hours and 4 hours calls times.

Geo-Fencing

When living with Dementia and Alzheimers, ensuring a loved one stays within a particular area is critical. Our Geo-Fencing feature allows families and carers to set up to three invisible fences which send alerts when they have been breached and entered by the user.

Roaming Sim

A roaming sim card ensures that the device connects to any available mobile phone network to provide maximum resilience for connection to the service either within the UK or while traveling abroad.

How the Freedom Device can help you

Safety and Reassurance

The Freedom Device features emergency assistance technology, enabling you to access the care you need in an emergency, 24/7/365.

Supporting Independence

The Freedom Device allows people who live alone to go outside safely. This reduces social isolation, loneliness and increases physical activity.

Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care

The Freedom Device can allow those living with Dementia and Alzheimer’s continue to live independently with geofencing enabled for extra reassurance and safety.

Additional Support Needs

The Freedom Device supports those living with additional support needs, including autism and downs syndrome, to live more independently.

How we supported Sanderson High School

In 2017, Communicare247 partnered with Sanderson High School, an additional support needs (ASN) school to help their pupils build confidence whilst travelling independently.

Using the Freedom Device with location-enabled technology, the pupils of Sanderson High School were able to travel independently out with the classroom with the reassurance that support from their teachers was close by.

As part of the schools “Wider Achievement Program”, the pupils were slowly introduced to the Freedom Device to use on public transport. The location-enabled Freedom Device provided the pupils with more confidence whilst travelling, allowing the school to see a 50% increase in the number of alumni who are now able to travel on public transport rather than using other forms of transport.
